Here are the children in my class, they are all between 7 to 8 years-old. They're all busy taking pictures of our island, a tiny gem in the Mediterranean Sea.

Agros Primary School Hello all of you! This is Agros Primary School in Cyprus. We are a small school in Pitsilia area in the foothills of Troodos mountain. We are very happy to participate in this project. We look forward to see the pictures of your countries.

Hello all of you There are about 300 students in Flataskoli at the age of 6 to 12. We told the students about this project in late December and now we are getting some pictures to put on the web. All of the students in the school are allowed to take part and we think this is a wonderful and a very interesting project. Last week our 1st grade students took the camera with them when they went out with their teacher to play in the sun and we only have the sun in the sky for about 4 hours at this time of year. We put the link to this blog on our website and we sent the parents an email to call their attention to the project so they could guide their children while they were taking pictures. As you can see on the picture there is no snow in Iceland and we are having plus degrees on Celcius.

Hello from The Netherlands Hello everybody, We are a small school with 32 students. We speak two languages, Dutch and Fries. We participate in this project with group 6, 7 and 8 (class 4, 5 and 6). We are 10 students in the age of 9 till 12 years. Our school is situated in Achlum, Achlum is a small village in the north of the Netherlands. In the beginning of the winter we had a lot of snow, but now it’s slowly melting. We have skated a lot this winter. Everybody is looking forward to the project. We’ve already made a lot of photo’s. Hello, everybody. We are 5a class from ZS Husova school. Our school is in the centre of quite a big city (about 350 thousands inhabitants), so it is not usual to have so much snow around our school! City transport almost collapsed last week, but we are enjoying winter pleasures just behind our school, in a park below Spilberk castle. We are looking forward to taking pictures and we want to see yours!

Hello to all of you! I wish we had snow here, but we have only had rain lately! We have 300 students, and are in the centre of Italy and we are very happy to participate in this project. Students are about 11 and they are looking forward to taking their pictures and seeing yours. This is the logo representing our school.

We are pupils from our day care center at school. Our ages are from 6 till 9 years old. We're looking forward to work with digital photography, and especially to look at your pictures! We've made a very short video, so you can have a look at some of us.

We live in Burgas which is situated near the Black sea. We love the sea and the beach. We like the winter and the snow as well. However, there is not so much snow during the winter in our town. Hello Europe, from Scotland! We should be back at school after the Christmas holidays, but schools in our region have all been closed this week. Here in Scotland, we are "enjoying" our worst spell of winter weather for many years, with snow having been falling for more than 3 weeks now. This is highly unusual for us! The photo above was taken today, late this afternoon. Meanwhile the picture below shows a snowy scene close to our school during the Christmas holidays. We are looking forward very much to seeing photos from all over Europe as the project develops. Good luck everyone!

A cold and snowy "HEJ" to you all, comes from Grimsås, in the south part of Sweden. We are still on Christmas holiday, and will be for some more days. Teachers start working om Friday, pupils on Monday, the 11 of January. The pupils who are going to take part of the competition are 11-13 years old. We are going to start preparing for interesting photos as soon as possible. I suppose we can use old photos too, because I think most of us will show the beautiful Swedish summer. Hello from Our Zadar Primary! We are a big school that is located in suburbs of the ancient town of Zadar. Bartula Kasica Primary School Zadar was named after a very famous 16th century Croatian grammarian. We're happy to run many etwinning Projects, as much as the Comenius Project. I am a teacher in Ohkola school, which is a small school in a town of Mäntsälä, about 60 kms north from Helsinki. At the moment it's cold here in Finland and we have a lot of snow. Nice to meet you all again. We are all impacient to take part to this great and huge project. Our school is for the moment in a complete processus of transformance and we teach for this year in a small building. But we will manage as we always have done, don't worry!
